The photographs I made since I have moved to Sweden are visible traces of my own perception. I started to use the camera strictly – to take notes – underline my own attention. Every time I notice, – I take an image. To later understand why my eyes were being held. This conversation with the world around me turns into a dialogue – with the material, its contexts and my own language. By accepting that the image carries something that I will not be able to forward or address I constitute some kind of freedom – The images become an encounter – like a sentence, a pile of words – something to hold, to pass on, a thin surface of matte grain, chemistry, and uncertainty.
