Papyrus is a tribute to paper — a material that has shaped human history for centuries. Fragile yet enduring, paper is an essential medium for recording, transmitting, and preserving knowledge, memory, and thought.

With this new body of work, I continue to explore the boundaries of abstraction, reducing visual language to its most elementary forms. The title Papyrus was chosen deliberately – not only as a reference to the ancient material, but as a conceptual bridge between ancient and contemporary forms of expression. This work explores how abstraction can evoke a deep emotional resonance and can connect us to something both intimate and universal.

Ultimately, Papyrus reflects a growing connection to my own artistic voice. It is a space of transmission and reception, of pause as well as creation. I invoke Papyrus as a metaphor: for communication without words, for emotional inscriptions rendered in form, colour, and light.
