‘Seeing a rainbow (through a window that isn’t there)’ is a project on color and texture in a standardized decor, in urbanization, where everything looks the same. The rainbow is used as metaphor for a phenomena which is build up with two core elements: water and the breaking of light. What is so striking is that ”all” people experience this as absolute beauty. A rainbow is nothing more than something extra-ordinary in the normal .Dries Segers is in search in a way of looking at things, relations between concept and color or between texture and media.
