Structural Accidents is an analog photo series freely inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities. Sitting at the edge of photography, it features abstract and enigmatic shapes that evoke buildings and unusual structures.
Despite their seemingly strange appearance, these temporary three-dimensional constructions are made from simple materials such as Styrofoam, tape, and plastic. The process of creation is based on a combination technique in which the materials are constantly dismantled and rearranged, and reflects the process of creation and recreation of a new world from scraps of reality.
