El nido vacio (the empty nest in Spanish) is a visual diary about the idea of distance, both geographical and temporal, that I keep since I moved to live to Spain, two years ago.
It’s a personal reflexion about the strength of my family’ symbols, seen form a certain remoteness, about the chances I’ve wasted and the ones are yet to come, about people I left behind, about all the time I’ve spent and I’m still spending waiting for something or somebody, it’s a collection of pictures about waiting, a way to take notes on expectations.
