“Doesn’t the food taste a little strange to you?” is a photographic book with diary-like fragments, tracing the quiet conversations between the self and the place one comes from. It begins with the family, an attempt to understand who they are, how they think, and how love, fear and guilt can live side by side. Through images and memories, it unfolds into something more inward: a reflection on identity, on how one chooses to live, and on what it means to grow without letting go. No final answers, just the slow work of understanding, accepting, and finding a place between the past and what’s next.
