The found photos used in this project are sourced from newspapers and articles published during the 70s. They are on their own a strong documentation of their time. By using these photos, I am dealing with specific and real facts that occurred in the past. After the folding process, this realism / reality becomes totally fictional. By hiding and folding something else appears. This crease signifies how close reality with fiction is while triggering the mind of the viewer.
