Photography is an inherently mysterious and ambiguous medium, resembling an elusive realm where subtle riddles reside, a kind of puzzle that can never be fully deciphered.

The series “Il Malocchio” (“The evil eye”) would be an attempt to explore this ambiguity aiming to reveal the enigmatic dimension that lies within everything that surrounds us. Thus, as in an investigative process, each image could be seen as a kind of clue, a trace, or a potential symbol of an unknown language that when added to the others lead to the discovery of a new meaning or, more likely, a further enigma.
