I had just driven out of the pyrenees and into the north of Spain in late September, and I was completely taken aback by the lack of water in any of the rivers, everything was very dry and desolate. I parked up and wandered down towards an empty river, it stretched far into the distance, when the snow melts in spring it must be the waters exit from the mountains, its way to escape back to the sea. Anyway, I was walking down this dry riverbed and came across a large rock with a perfectly straight line naturally formed into it, which eventually lead me to think about things cyclically and the project ended up being about the seemingly inevitable return to home
