Waiting in the Wings by Nikos Markou is not a series about birds. It is a proposition for a different way of seeing and listening to the world; an exercise in attention toward what surrounds us yet remains outside the center of our awareness. It is a reminder that many of the most significant presences do not seek the spotlight; they wait quietly in the wings until someone pauses long enough to notice them.
